We collaborated with Fitzroy Amsterdam and Artbox to produce this commercial for Fairphone. Fairphone, a Dutch brand focused on sustainable technology, aimed to introduce its refreshed brand identity and new logo through a distinctive launch film.

KATANANGA played a key role in the project, with Geert Jansen co-directing alongside Jorrit Stollman. In collaboration with A Good Beer, KATANANGA developed the CGI and VFX for Mobi, the waste-collecting robot featured in the film. This included the full process from early R&D through to a fully 3D-animated character. Compositing was handled by Giso Spijkerman.

The final film brings all elements together in a dynamic edit that supports Fairphone’s message around sustainable technology.
